About Grand Hotel Terminus

Grand Hotel Terminus has been considered a classic ever since it opened in 1928. With its whiskybar, leather armchairs, and generous breakfast, it is a truly continental experience.

Located in the heart of the city – 50 metres from the railway station, and within easy reach of attractions and adventures.

The hotel offers 131 comfortable rooms and excellent conference facilities. Grand Terminus has held environmental certification since 2009, and is committed to a sustainable approach. Venture outside, and you discover a beautiful garden.

Behind the design are the architects Arnesen and Darre Kårbø, the creators of several of Bergen’s renowned buildings, and the hotel has been awarded the prestigious Houens Fonds Diplom for its architecture. Its façade was granted protected heritage status in 2012. The grand atmosphere has been preserved, but the facilities have been upgraded to provide everything you expect from a modern hotel experience.
